Support for x64 builds with baseline compiler

Description

We need to get x64 builds with the baseline compiler (prototype, BaseBase*) working before we think about adding x64 support to the optimizing compiler. It is probably also a good idea to fix all bugs from before tackling x64 opt compiler support.

All the outstanding changes are now in rvm-1062-remaining-changes-by-da-feng.diff .

All of the changes that we want to take from the following attachments have been committed:
