Do not print messages by default when AOS starts up in non-adaptive or replay mode

Description

When the AOS runs in non-adaptive or replay mode, messages are printed to the default output via VM.sysWriteln(). For example, when the VM starts in non-adaptive mode, the line

1 AOS: In non-adaptive mode; controller thread exiting.

is printed. This output sometimes ends up in the output for test cases. If the affected test case uses checksums to verify the output (as most of our current test cases do), the test will fail.
